Arijit Lodha - Immigrant Services Calgary

Mr. Arijit Lodha was born in Australia to parents from India who were completing their medical training. In 2000, at 10 months old, Arijit and his family moved to Canada. His musical talents and speaking skills have enabled him to create awareness for mental health and childhood education. He co-founded Rajasthan Association of North America (RANA) Calgary Youth with his sister at age 14, mentoring more than 50 Rajasthani youth who recently immigrated to Canada since the organization’s inception.

Source Waters: The Rivers That Shape Us is an upcoming short film that follows the waters of the Red Deer River from its true headwaters in Banff National Park toward the Alberta-Saskatchewan border. Filmed in 2020, the documentary provides essential context for those wanting to learn more about the landscapes, communities, and waters of the Red Deer River watershed. Designed for municipal audiences, the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance aims to use this film to spark broader discussions about watershed management with municipal decision-makers.

Tourism Rossland / Destination British Columbia

Eric has produced over 40 documentary style promotional videos for Tourism Rossland. In addition to being responsible for filming and editing, Eric conducts interviews with subjects. In 2015, Tourism Rossland produced their first TV commercial which Eric oversaw that was produced in conjunction with Tourism BC. It aired in British Columbia and Alberta.

Recently, Tourism Rossland has aided in the development of tourism material in the Lower Columbia covering the communities of Trail, Fruitvale, Montrose and Warfield.
